I am Dr Orsolya SZABÓ, Attorney-at-Law, member of the Budapest Bar Association since 2012. Because of name similarity my name as an attorney is „dr. Orsolya H. SZABÓ”. I graduated in law from the University of Miskolc [Hungary], Faculty of Political Science and Law in 2003. Having finished university, I worked first as a lawyer, and later on as an attorney for small, medium-sized and large companies in Hungary, France and the UK. Later on I joined a law firm. In 2010 I took the Legal Specialist Examination.
My clients are mostly private individuals and small or medium-sized companies, for whom I provide legal services mainly in the field of family law, classic civil law and criminal law. I have intermediate level command of German and French languages, and advanced level command of English and Romanian languages. As concerns the two latter ones, my professional activity also covers foreign language representation services and preparation of documents at request.
I continuously actualize and update my professional knowledge, extend and develop my experience, by regularly attending conferences, trainings both in Hungary and abroad. At the Budapest Bar Association I hold the position of commissioner for the control of Money Laundering/Terrorism Financing Prevention, and since 2020 I have been an examining member of the Judicial Expert Examination Board for the Legal Specialist Examination (operated by the Ministry of Justice), assisting thereby the career development of my colleagues.
For my English speaking clients I mostly provide services in the field of real estate law, international family law, company law (company formation, deed of association, amendment, etc.) and criminal law (traffic accidents, battery, drug trafficking, etc).
